A decade into the 21st century, and there are surprisingly few auto dealers who really have embraced the technology of GenX and GenY.  Since these generations span the ages of 25-49, a range that accounts for the majority of auto sales, doesn’t it just make sense to reach them with your message in a manner that they find familiar and comfortable?

Then why aren’t you doing so?

The common answers to this question revolve around cost, time, difficulty and trained personnel.  Exactly the major problems that are overcome and blasted back to last century by our VIRTUAL CYBER SALES and Vmail program: it’s affordable; it’s instant; it’s simple, and nearly anyone can use it effectively—right from the start.  Your message.  Extended.  More sales.  Simple.

OK.  So you have a website and a well-designed internet presence.  You also have an internet department or maybe a full-blown Business Development Center.  Great.  Where’s the personalization?  Where’s the the Reality TV-inspired response?  You’re doing without them.  So, where’s the increase in sales and your return-on-investment?  Virtual Cyber Sales and Vmail. Most of the questions and concerns that we receive revolve around the benefits listed above.   We will share our most Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) below.

Ø  What do you mean by “instant customer contact”?  Our Virtual Cyber Sales and Vmail program makes use of your internet presence—and takes it to new levels and heights.  When you receive a request for information about one of your vehicles, products or services,  the simplicity and ease-of-use of the Virtual Cyber Sales program allows for nearly immediate response with a tailored, personalized message complete with a friendly face and a video walk-around of the vehicle your customers inquired about.

Ø  Do I need to hire special technical personnel to use this program?  No.  Virtual Cyber Sales and V-mail is really simple.  We designed is so that no “tech heads” are required.   We’ve done all the research and work.  Our goal was to put all the pieces in place so that nearly anyone can effectively use it:  internet staff, sales staff, and management will find it really simple;  Dealers, on the other hand…let’s just say if you can use a home DVD player or VCR, and you know how to send an email,  you can operate our system.  Simple on-screen start and stop buttons are about as difficult as it gets.

Ø  What do you mean by timeliness and time savings?  It’s a proven fact that to be effective, responses to internet  e-mail questions need to be made within a few minutes.   Anything over 20-to-30 minutes response time diminishes positive return responses from customers.  With Virtual Cyber Sales your staff can reply with impact and introduce themselves in minutes.   And we all know the benefit of dealing with someone you know.

Ø   What kind of response should I expect?  Our research, (i.e.real-time dealer experience), in the Puget Sound market gave us some outstanding results.  We found that 100-percent of those contacted with a Vmail responded; 80-percent purchased from us.  That’s unheard of in any kind of marketing!  The reasons given for responding varied, but all shared the same theme: that they were completely amazed with being able to see the car they asked about, and that they felt very comfortable seeing us and feeling like they were having a conversation with us—even though they were at home or work.  This compares to regular email response of  about 40-percent, and 20-percent who came into the dealership.  National numbers for Vmail show a 61-percent increase.  And that’s something that any business can use.

Ø  Do salespeople get “cut out” by the internet managers and sales staff?  No.  Unless you want the internet department to handle most of the traffic.  Even then, Virtual Cyber Sales is the most incredibly easy and effective follow-up tool a salesperson can use.  Suppose a salesperson meets with a one-legged customer and shows a vehicle.  Customer leaves to speak with the other interested party; but before leaving, the sales pro gets an email address to reach the customer.  A quick Thank You Vmail showing the vehicle is produced and sent to the customer.  The customer and other interested party watch the Vmail.  Now everyone has seen the vehicle (and features), and the other interested party “knows” the sales pro.  When they come in again there is a bond of familiarity.  Easier sale.  Better gross.

Ø  I already have my vehicles on the ‘net.  Sure. So does virtually every dealer in the nation.  That’s how you get all the internet traffic in the first place.  But, with Vmail you’re able to respond with real video that shows the car moving; doors, hoods and trunks all operate; stereos work, dashboards light up and sunroofs open-and-close.  Beat that with a picture.  Besides, it's so simple and quick,  that you can even “back up” your static pictures with video that actually shows the vehicle in operation.  And isn’t that what we want customers to do?  Operate the vehicle or product?  You just sent a virtual walk-around.  What's next?  A test-drive?

There are a multitude of additional uses in the sales department for Virtual Cyber Sales, but we haven’t had time to discover all of them.  We’ve been too busy making car deals and getting the program ready for you.

It’s up to you now.  If you’re tired of poor results, want to step to the forefront of automotive marketing and retailing, and just plain add-to-the-bottom line, then you need to implement Virtual Cyber Sales right away.
